Preservation: The sounds of yesterday and today. There are costs involved in digitizing, restoring, and preserving the old tape. When we are done with the Tut Tapes, the tapes themselves will be handed to the International Bluegrass Music Museum.Education: We make educational materials available to schools and universities at no charge.
Promotion: We help partner bands and venues get the word out. We believe in supporting those working in the business who share our vision. We also believe in the community of the SPPS by providing ways for our partners to stand together and benefit each other.
Vision: We are also working to present workshops, sponsor showcases at trade events, and produce non-profit events to support Americana music in a real way.
